GTA Vice City introduced the ability to buy safe houses, however GTA San Andreas introduces a huge
selection to choose from. What's more, the buying of property is actually one of the most important things in the game. You
will earn a whopping 15% just for buying all 29 Safe Houses! Granted, they'll cost you $879,000 altogether, but they are probably
the quickest way to rack up percentage once you've obtained the cash.
Each save house has a Wardrobe where you
will find all of Carl's Purchased and Unlocked clothing. Entering this will allow you to change clothes and add or remove
extra items. You will also find a Save Icon in each house which allows you to save your progress. Some houses have
garages outside. These have been noted below, as well as a rough estimate of the number of average sized cars which can fit
inside. Parking a vehicle in one of these garages will keep it saved in there, so it will always be found inside the garage
until you remove it. A small selection of houses have some random photographs of girlfriends you will acquire in the game
too. The best way to find the safe houses is to just look on your map for a green house shaped icon. This indicates that there
is property which can be purchased. Because of the fact every safe house is marked on the radar, I have not put too much detail
into their locations, but along with the screenshots, it should be obvious where each house is located.
Note
It
is possible to squash more vehicles in a garage than stated here. You can usually fit at least 4 bikes in any garage, or sometimes
a few cars depending on the size, however be warned that the game will most likely eat your cars! If they are parked
too close together (as they usually have to be) the game will glitch and your cars will disappear. To get more vehicles in
the garage than allowed, fill up the garage, then when the door shuts get out of your new vehicle, walk up to the garage so
the door opens, then quickly jump in your vehicle and drive in.
